About Our School

About Our School

Platt Technical High School is located in Milford, Connecticut. We have over 800 students from 18 towns and enroll grades 9-12. Students earn more than a high school diploma—they gain the knowledge, technical skills, and real-world experience needed for college, apprenticeships, military service, or a career.

Our unique program combines rigorous academics with hands-on career and technical education. Students alternate between academic and trade instruction on a two-week rotation, spending 91 days each year in academic courses and 91 days developing technical skills in industry-standard shops.

Freshman year, students explore our career and technical education programs before choosing a trade that matches their interests and goals. From Culinary Arts to Carpentry to Robotics, and much more, students train with modern equipment while earning industry-recognized credentials.
